About Me

Howdy, I am a dad of two boys and a Grandfather of two boys. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I have four sisters and a brother. I joined the US Navy out of High School and around my tenth year of service, I joined the Elite Naval Special Warfare (SEAL/SWCC)as a SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant Crewman) Operator. I had an incredible rewarding career. I went in as an enlisted E-1 and climbed to the rank of the highest level an enlisted person can go, E-9 (Command Master Chief) I served with Honor, Courage and Commitment for 30 years. Since retirement, I went back to school and finished my degree in Business Leadership/Management. (Ashford University) I am bonded with the state of California as a Financial advisor, I'm also a certified California, OSHA instructor/supervisor. I have had and excelled in numerous leadership positions in my military and civilian career. I enjoy being out doors hiking, fishing, biking, surfing and swimming. I also enjoy being an oil painter.

I want to represent our valley in working for the Gunnison/Crested Butte residents. I believe in the preservation of our National Parks, Monuments and all Historical Landmarks. I believe in service to the Community, transparency and accountability. Once in office, I want to try and help fix the Affordable housing issue, our Colorado water concerns, Mental Health in the valley, Help with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) issues and any other concerns our local Crested Butte or Gunnison patrons may have.

I enjoy coaching and mentoring and working with our youth of America so, I volunteer at the Nordic Center and substitute teach for the GVSD. I am running for County Commissioner because I believe in serving our community and working "through, by and with integrity" for our neighbors.
